Star of N*E*R*D and Rihanna’s Lemon video, METTE Towley stole the show when Pharrell Williams’s funk hip-hop band dropped the music video for their comeback single earlier this month.

The 26 year old Minnesota native opens the video with her head getting shaved by Rihanna in a motel room before bouncing around a flea market performing a solo routine, choreographed by JaQuel Knight, covered in glitter. The LA based professional dancer, who holds a BA in Dance from the University of Minnesota, has been hitting the floor with Williams’s dance troupe, which he affectionately calls The Baes, since 2014, and has been described by the N*E*R*D frontman as 'the scary one to me because she walks around with a psychic force'. With her new buzzcut and career-defining appearance in the video, it's a new beginning for Williams’s muse, who told Vogue 'If Pharrell's taught me anything, it's that there's no limit to what you can achieve as long as you don't pigeonhole yourself'.
